We have some exciting news to share with you!!! Houston Inspections’ toolbox has gone
sky-high tech. Now, in addition to a tall ladder, we carry a small drone on the
job. Houston Inspections continues to
invest in technology in order to provide exceptional service for our clients.
We are now using drones for our roof inspections and are experiencing great
success.
Houston Inspections sometimes finds it necessary to fly a
drone for the purpose of inspecting the roof due to the pitch (safety) and/or
the type of material being inspected. Home Inspectors do not typically walk
roofs that are of clay and ceramic type material due to the high risk of
causing damage. The goal of Houston Inspections when it comes to use of the
drone is to get as close to the roofs surface to evaluate all possible areas
for the client. Houston Inspections does not charge a fee for the use of the
drone. Houston Inspections follows all current FAA rules and flies safely. Drone usage is also limited by weather
conditions and/or location, i.e. restricted areas, space restrictions or no
required GPS signal available in the area.
